What is Seint IIID or 3D Foundation?

IIID or 3D represents SEINT’s three-dimensional approach to makeup. Your face isn’t one-dimensional, so why wear a makeup that is? It’s just doesn’t seem right to just put a single foundation color all over your face and leave it at that.
You might say that’s what blush is for, and you’re not wrong in that regard. But wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could create depths to your face because single-toned foundation appears just too flat? Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could accentuate your features at the same time?
That’s what SEINT’s IIID system is. It composed of at least four colors to achieve a more natural looking finish a single-toned foundation can’t. Using the correct colors in the correct places will also save you time, money, and space in your makeup stash.
What does HAC mean?
HAC is another term when talking about SEINT makeup. HAC stands for HIGHLIGHT and CONTOUR, which is simply another way of talking about our IIID foundation.
Your highlight color is used like you would typically use a traditional foundation. It provides coverage to even out your skin while highlighting the areas that are naturally brighter on your face.
Getting started with IIID Foundation
CONTOUR
This color should be deeper than your natural skin tone. It creates and accentuates the “shadows” on your face, giving dimension and a gorgeous sculpt to your face! Using the large end of the HAC brush apply the contour color round the edges of your face, down the neck, the side of your nose and beneath your cheekbones.
MAIN HIGHLIGHT
This is what you would normally use as a foundation.
This is close to your natural color and is used to hide imperfections. You would not need to layer any of this, you just need to put it in the right place.
BRIGHTENING HIGHLIGHT
This color should be lighter than your natural skin tone. The yellow turns creamy on the skin and gives you a “lit from within” glow! With the small end of the IIID brush apply this shade to the bridge of the nose, beneath your eyes and down the side of the nose in a pie piece shape, between your brows, on the chin and along the jawline.
LIP + CHEEK
This rosy tone brings out your eyes, makes the face appear more youthful and warms your complexion. Apply this with a brush, sponge or fingertip to the apples of your cheeks and to the center of your lips.
ILLUMINATOR
Finish everything with this gorgeous shimmery cream! It gives the face a candlelit dewiness and perfects your complexion. Apply with fingertip to the top of your cheekbones, the bow of your lip and beneath the arch of your brow.
