🌸 COLOR CORRECTORS :

Do the color corrections first prior to doing your highlighting and contouring (HAC)!

Redness Corrector (Camo) : Aspen

Stipple red areas with very light application of Aspen contour to neutralize redness.  Use the small end of the Blend Brush.

Dark Undereye Corrector : Frenchie
Swipe Frenchie under the circle of the eyes to lighten the area, then top with your brightening highlight.

🌸 YOUR FOUNDATION = 4 CREAMS :

You would not need to layer this makeup as they need to go into their respective area in the face. Simply stipple these colors in the right area of your face with a IIID Brush then you can blend to even out.  The goodness about this cream makeup is you can mix them to achieve the color that is true to your skin.

Main Highlight : Athens
For your main highlight, this should be the color closest to your skin. Tap (not swipe) with your brush then stipple.  Stippling prevents the cream from settling into lines. Also, we go a shade darker to prevent from using too much product.  Less is best!

Brightening Highlight : White Peach
This would be used to brighten under your eyes, the center of your forehead and down the center of your nose. Brightening highlight has a yellow undertone and a lighter shade that aims to create a natural inner face glow! Don’t overdo as this will cause the lines to become prominent.

Contour: Ash
Use the contour to shape your face and give you dimension.  Use it in the topmost forehead, below the cheek bone, jawline, line on the side of the nose.  To save you from buying additional product, use it for your brows too!

Lip+Cheek :  Plum
You can use this cream for both the lips and cheeks.  Saves you money not having to buy separate products!  With Seint, the possibilities are endless because you can mix the creams to create a more preferred shade. Want a deeper shade, try mixing with your contour!  Yes, those creams are multi-purpose so don’t be afraid to experiment!

🌸 TIP : Dab creams on areas with texture. Use the Beauty Blender to push the creams into the skin especially when dealing with texture.

🌸 YOUR EXTRAS :

Bronzer : Bella
Don’t be afraid to add some warmth by finishing off your looks with a bronzer.  Shop the bundle to save on the Bronzer Brush.

Eyeshadows:
Apply contour or Trust eyeshadow as brow color using the fine tip of the Multitasker Brush. Don’t forget the right tool for the job, our Eyeshadow Brush.  Eyeshadow tutorials can be found here.

Oil Control:
Moisturize daily prior to makeup application and let your skin soak the moisturizer first. Skip the moisturization for 2 weeks if skin becomes too oily. Exfoliate dead skins weekly and use a microfiber cloth to wipe off the face daily. For dry skin, you will notice your makeup disappearing, and this is because the skin will absorb the cream makeup so moisturization is advised. Also, while your skin undergo some adjustments to the cream makeup, apply the Vanilla Dust powder where there is extra oiliness.  Bundle with the Powder Brush for savings.

Makeup Tips & Techniques

This may be too much information but you will thank me for these tips!

🌸 Less is best. The biggest mistake we see women in general make when applying makeup is using too much product. Using too much product causes it to sit in and make creases deeper and more noticeable than they really are.

🌸 Stipple on the product. Not only will this tip help you to apply less product (and makes your product last longer) but it will also help distribute the product evenly on your face so that it won’t crease (as mentioned above). I like stippling (or dabbing) the product on first to distribute it across the face, then lightly brushing and buffing it in in small circle motions. This will give a beautiful, natural look. Not sure which brush to use for foundation? This next tip will answer your question…

🌸 The right brush. Older women should use a brush that doesn’t apply too much product yet is very soft. I LOVE using the IIID brush. It applies the perfect amount of product without applying too much, and because it is so soft, it blends everything nicely.

🌸 Lift the face with contour. As skin gets older it tends to sag on the face. Using contour will create a visual ‘lift’ for those cheekbones and instantly take years off of the face. Just make sure to apply right along your cheek bone. Applying contour too low will bring your face down and do the opposite of what we are trying to do, lift!

🌸 Blush for youth. Some women are scared of wearing blush especially with mature skin because they think it has to be too pink. No way! Everyone needs blush on their face because blush adds youth and health. Blush adds color to your face. It doesn’t have to be bright pink! There are so many beautiful shades of blush that I love to use on more mature skin and they double as lip color too!

🌸 Moisturize! Obviously we need to be using a good moisturizer no matter our age! The Seint Skincare regimen is my favorite regimen. There are so many great benefits of using it, anti-aging is just one of them.

How to Achieve a IIID Look

Our face is not flat, so our makeup should be able to create that 3D dimension by doing what SEINT referred to as HAC or Highlight and Contour.

MAIN HIGHLIGHT

This is what you would normally use as a foundation. This is close to your natural color and is used to filter imperfections. You would not need to layer any of this, you just need to put it in the right place.

BRIGHTENING HIGHLIGHT

This color should be lighter than your natural skin tone. The yellow turns creamy on the skin and gives you a “lit from within” glow! With the small end of the IIID brush apply this shade to the bridge of the nose, beneath your eyes and down the side of the nose in a pie piece shape, between your brows, on the chin and along the jawline.

CONTOUR

This color should be deeper than your natural skin tone. It creates and accentuates the “shadows” on your face, giving dimension and a gorgeous sculpt to your face! Using the large end of the IIID brush apply the contour color round the edges of your face, down the neck, the side of your nose and beneath your cheekbones.

LIP + CHEEK

This rosy tone brings out your eyes, makes the face appear more youthful and warms your complexion. Apply this with a brush, sponge or fingertip to the apples of your cheeks and to the center of your lips.

ILLUMINATOR

Finish everything with this gorgeous shimmery cream! It gives the face a candlelit dewiness and perfects your complexion. Apply with fingertip to the top of your cheekbones, the bow of your lip and beneath the arch of your brow.

Remember to check out the How-to videos to learn more about the application.
